How do 3D Secure Payments work when a customer receives a verification code?
Some banks have 3D Secure* protection and require a verification code to be provided when a payment is attempted to be processed on their card. Here's how it works with Charge:
Process the payment as you usually would, entering the amount, the card details and then tap 'Charge card' (ref).
If your customer's bank has 3D Secure enabled, you will be taken to a new screen which asks for a verification code. Ask your customer to provide the verification code they should've received from their bank (usually via SMS) and enter the code into the screen displayed.
Upon entering the correct verification code, the payment will be processed and the payment confirmation screen will be displayed.
