How can I completely reset the app to start setup again?

Sometimes things get a little weird if you update the software on your phone or change your Stripe account to activate 2FA or something else random happens and it's necessary to completely reset the app and go through the setup process again. If that happens, here are the steps to follow to hopefully get you up and running again quickly.


Android


Go to Settings->Apps->Charge for Stripe->Storage and tap 'Clear cache' and then tap 'Clear data'.
Then tap back and tap uninstall to completely remove the app for your phone.
Turn your phone off completely and then turn it back on.
Go to Google Play and install the app again (LINK) and tap the 'Connect with Stripe' button to re-connect your account with Charge for Stripe and complete the initial setup process.


iOS


Go to Settings->General->iPhone Storage->Charge for Stripe and tap 'Delete App'.
Turn your phone off completely and then turn it back on.
Go to App Store and install the app again (LINK) and tap the 'Connect with Stripe' button to re-connect your account with Charge for Stripe and complete the initial setup process.
