Can I use Charge for Stripe on my computer / desktop / laptop?

Charge for Stripe is currently only available for Android and iOS and we don't have any immediate plans to develop apps for Windows or Mac. However, if you are using Chrome OS on a Chromebook or Chromebox that supports Android apps, you should be able to install Charge for Stripe from Google Play and use it all ok, as you can see in the screenshot below.

While we haven't tested as extensively on Chrome OS as we do for our mobile apps, in our brief testing it does work quite well, but if you do encounter any issues, please do let us know so we can get them fixed.

If you would like to see a Windows or Mac version of Charge for Stripe, please scroll down and select the 'Chat with us' button to let us know what you'd like and while we can't promise it, if we receive enough interest we'll certainly explore these further.

Please be aware that if you have a VPN installed on your device (e.g. TunnelBear extension), the app will not work properly for security reasons, so you will need to disable (not just turn off, but also disable) any extensions with this functionality before you will be able to use the app. You can learn how to do this here.
