# How do app shortcuts work?

On Android, [app shortcuts](https://support.google.com/android/answer/9450271?hl=en) make it easy to do exactly what you want to do, quicker.

Long-pressing the Charge for Stripe icon will display shortcuts for the different payment options available which you can either tap, or you can long-press and drag them to your device home screen to make the shortcut accessible whenever you want it. Now a single tap can take you directly to the payment screen to process whatever type of payment you want to process.
